  2. Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for blogging for Media Specialists. I’ll look forward to hearing more as this course progresses.

  3. As a student studying to become a librarian, I look forward to this site and the opportunity to learn and share information with veteran librarians.

  4. Wow Cheryl,
I am really impressed- first you have a very neat and well organized informational website for your Media Center and also you have now created this blog
for other Media Coordinators to post bit and pieces of info. – I can see the benefits for all of us.

    Thanks again,

  6. Hi Cheryl,
What a great idea! I am trying out a blog with my students. I have posted books I’ve read and asked for feedback on what they have read. I have also posted lists of top fiction for my middle school students as well as high school and adult. I also thought it would be cool to do a quick survey of what genre kids like to read most. I am in the process of posting this blog on our internal site. It is a closed blog, hence only those invited can post. I am asking students to email me so that I can invite them. I like your blog in that you have to approve postings. Keep up the good work!

  7. I have clicked on every button there is. I hope this is the right way. I’m not sure what goes in the website box.

  8. Cheryl,

Your blog looks great. I work with state level colleagues and groups of teachers. I am interested in how your site for teachers fares. I will be in touch. What an wonderful job!

  9. I watched David Warlick’s video podcast:del.ic.ious
I really like the video podcasts. I leared about IShowU (MAC only) and Anarchy Media Player 2.0. I loved IShowU but need to find a PC compatible software that does the same things. This is a neat little video that could be used as an introduction to “social bookmarking”.

I am a visual learner so the audio podcasts are not as exciting to me.

I lisented to the Web 2.0:http://www.learnoutloud.com/Free-Audio-Video/Technology/The-Digital-Age/Web-20/15770
on Learn Out Loud. I didn’t think this was very engaging.

I really got excited about the podcast, “Develop a Super Memory”, thought perhaps, I would become a Web 2.0 expert, but alas, when I tried to listen to it, it was a “World Soccer Daily Podcast”—oh well!(http://www.learnoutloud.com/Catalog/Self-Development/Goals/Develop-A-Super-Memory/7480#)
